1. Other countries may openly sell vapes, also known as "E-cigarettes", which are electronic devices that dispense nicotine. However, do note that some countries may have strict regulations or have banned it, like Singapore. News in the region have also reported on vapes being adulterated with certain illegal drugs that stays in your system for a long time. Therefore, it is better to avoid getting or using such devices. 
2. Keep a list of emergency contacts -  your school's point-of-contact for your program, an online helpline for mental distress if needed and the contact of a relevant embassy for your to reach out to during emergencies.
3. Even if consumption of drugs and vapes may be legal at certain countries, the Singapore law on drugs still applies to all citizens and permanent residents. As such, you will be prosecuted by the law in Singapore once you are back - even if the drug was consumed months ago or in a place where it is legal.

4. Drug use remains prevalent globally. Be aware of how they affect you physically, mentally, emotionally and legally.
