Mobilising the community against drug-abuse and towards a drug-free Singapore
Working towards a drug-free Singapore
The Singapore Anti-Narcotics Association (SANA) is a Social Service Agency (SSA) which works with government bodies and corporate partners to spread the anti-drug message and provide social support to clients who are recovering from drug abuse and addiction.
The Preventive Drug Education (PDE) department oversees programs such as Drug Awareness School Talk, ACT Badge and Program ACT which target youths. Through the programs, youths are taught about the harms of drugs addiction and healthy coping methods to stay away from drugs. Youths are also encouraged to spread the anti-drug message with their peers.
SANA believes the fight against drug abuse starts with building self-worth and understanding how drugs can negatively affect us and individuals around us. Every one of us can rise above influence, peer pressure, instant thrill and self-doubt to stay focused on the people and things that really matter. This way, we can live positively and be in control of our own lives.

We provide guidance and support to youths between the ages of 12-21 who are residing in residential homes and have a history of substance abuse or exposure to substances.

Drug Awareness School Talk
The drug awareness school talk intervenes in adolescent development by addressing the root causes of issues like drug use. It helps students manage emotions, fosters self-awareness, and equips them with tools for positive decision-making, reducing the risk of harmful choices.
